The Challenge

Portfolio managers at large organizations needed a reporting hub that could surface cross-project dependencies, effort distribution, and status at a glance — without requiring BI team involvement for every report.

02 — Process

My Approach

Designed a self-serve reporting experience with templated and custom report creation flows. Introduced a smart filter system that let users slice by project, author, type, and date without SQL. Focused on progressive disclosure to serve both executive and operational audiences.

03 — Outcome

Results

Report generation time cut from days to minutes for 80% of common use cases. Platform reduced BI team ticket volume by 35%. NPS increased 22 points after launch.
